Florida’s 89.1 WUFT-FM, Weekend Anchor                                   August 2015-Present

  • Anchor and host local news updates and interviews from the Central Florida region
  • Write scripts and organize information to use for future reference
  • Supervise all reporters on assignment and delegate stories if need be
  • Work with radio and TV directors on stories they want covered for the weekend shows.

WCJB TV20, News Intern                                                                     May 2015- Aug 2015

  • Shadowed and assisted WCJB reporters, anchors and producers in the field and newsroom
  • Reported on local stories in the Alachua and Marion County area
  • Wrote, re-wrote and edited scripts for the 6 PM and 11 PM shows
  • Shot and edited video for packages and VOSOTs

WUFT News TV5, Politics Specialty Anchor                                  April 2015-April 2016

  • Gather and report on local, statewide and national political news for the First at Five newscast
  • Cut and edit video and write all scripts utilizing ENPS and Final Cut
  • Work with production and producing staff on graphics and components for the segment
  • Front all material and anchor the five-minute specialty segment

  • One of nine students selected out of 100 senators to serve on committee
  • Maintains and oversees all social media accounts for UF Student Government Senate
  • Creates content to promote UF Student Government Senate
  • Plans events and functions for UF student body and other UF senators

  • Represent and serve members of the College of Journalism and Communications
  • Create and work on legislation that benefits the student body
  • Attend weekly meetings and University of Florida events                                                                        

Kappa Kappa Gamma-Epsilon Phi Chapter, Marshal             January 2016- Present              

  • Serve as parliamentarian during chapter and council meetings
  • Preserve the integrity and historical significance of Kappa Kappa Gamma’s ritual
  • Serve as chairman of the Ritual Committee

Journalism and Communications Ambassador                           August 2015- Present

  • Represent and serve as a liaison for the College of Journalism and Communications
  • Give tours of the college to potential students and faculty as well as help put on and host events for the college
  • Work with local middle/high school students in order to strengthen the journalism and communication programs available to them
  • Work closely with a variety of faculty and professionals within the college
