In typical NBA fashion, there is yet more drama surrounding an NBA team, this time with the New York Knicks and Carmelo Anthony.
Anthony is currently playing the waiting game with his current team, and has been at the center of numerous trade talks as of late. However, the nine-time NBA All-Star has a no trade clause in his contract.
Yet that hasn’t stopped Knicks president Phil Jackson to push a deal as well as push Anthony out of New York.
One potential landing spot for Anthony if he does decide to leave the Big Apple would be Cleveland, to join up with the great Lebron James. But the road Cleveland wants to take in order to make this happen would be to trade Kevin Love for Anthony. Which makes absolutely no sense.
Why would you give up a player that does this when he’s on the court?
Plus, Love has a lot more up-side to him than Anthony does. As the trade deadline approaches, this story will definitely be interesting in regards to seeing what ultimately unfolds.
