With the Dallas Cowboy’s exit from the NFL Playoffs, more and more attention has been focused on what to do with a certain quarterback.
Tony Romo is set to take center stage during the Cowboys’ offseason, with many NFL fans waiting to hear where the quarterback will end up for the 2017 NFL season.
So here are a few potential landing spots that Cowboy and NFL fans can see taking place for next season.
THE COWBOYS KEEP HIM
Probably the least plausible option of the bunch considering that option is worth a pricey $14 million.
THE COWBOYS RELEASE HIM
Doing this would free up around $5.1 million in cap space.
COWBOYS TRADE HIM
With a $14 million salary and only having played 5 games over the last two seasons, this move might be viewed as risky for certain NFL teams. However, teams like the Chicago Bears and Houston Texans just might be willing to take that risk.
Keep in mind that Romo will be turning 37 years old this year. He could also leave the NFL with plenty of other lucrative options waiting for him.
